This weekend (Sat, Sun, & Mon) a local chocolate shop that I've been dying to try out is having a cupcake extravaganza. Matt and I loved the random cupcake trucks around NYC streets so I think this is a prime opportunity to duck in to this chocolate shop and try it out. Unfortunately I'm working all weekend so timing will be hard, and the owner says the line will be out the door (they will have the most flavores available around 12pm on Sat.) Yelp raves about their chocolates so I have high hopes. And look at this scrumptious and exotic list of cupcake flavors that will be availble...

Ohh, those look so good! I will have to trek down there someday to try them. Did you happen to see Cups in La Jolla while you were there? They're pretty good too, and have a lot of interesting flavors. :)
ReplyDeleteHaven't seen Cups in La Jolla--I don't make it over there much though. Cupcakes are the new black so I'm not surprised to hear of a few specialty shops popping up. I'm not a cake person (I like fudgy brownie like consistency) so I need a GOOOOD cupcake
