Scratch 'n sniff for a better mood

Aromatherapy is the practice of using volatile plant oils, including essential oils, for psychological and physical well-being. Our sense of smell is interrelated with the limbic system, an area of the brain which is primarily concerned with emotion and memory. This influence of aromas on our psyches has led many aromatherapists to practice a form of aromatherapy called 'psycho-aromatherapy', using essential oils to enhance the moods and emotions. 
You can practice aromatherapy at home however. Maybe you already do with some candles or that lotion you love the smell of? Take it to the next level by using essential oils which are the direct extract from the plant and effect your brain (in good ways of course)!
