Bike it

I'm on a bike multiple days a week when I teach spin so now I'm itching to take it outside. While a road bike would seem logical for an extra outdoor workout I'm considering a comfy towny instead. My man and I would love to be able to hop on bikes and ride to the grocery store, the farmer's market, local pizza or ice cream shops, the park for frisbee, or just get out in the sun 'n wind. We live in a prime area of SD for this and it's summer so we need to capitalize on it. Plus, we're finally grabbing a garage at our complex so we will now have the safe storage for some fun new bikes. I loved loved loved my bike up at Whitman (college) but unfortunately left it up there (I thought I'd be returning to live up there...hmm, haven't been back...). Cruisers and Townies are so comfy and great for leisurely rides around town. Plus groceries will fit nicely in a lil basket on the back. Price is the catch so we're looking on craigslist. Any suggestions?
