I've boasted the random beneficial uses of both baking soda and apple cider vinegar before. But here's a few new ones to note:
BOUNTIFUL BAKING SODA...
Deodor your nasty kicks--Dust in your shoes between wears and the baking soda will absorb funky moisture. Just dump out excess.
Cheaper teeth whitener--The gritty texture of baking soda helps loosen surface stains. Combine a small amount of baking soda with water until it forms a paste. Scrub your pearlies well with the mixture and a toothbrush. Rinse and let 'em shine!
Degunk hair--Natural scalp oils and products clog up your hair. Get rid of that mess by shaking a gigger of baking soda into your palm along with your shampoo, then wash you hair as usual.
All useful APPLE CIDER VINEGAR...
Pit stank--It’s the bacteria and not the actual sweat that make your pits reek. The astringent properties in Apple cider vinegar kill those stinky microbes. Apply a cotton ball or washcloth dipped in the vinegar directly to your underarms. Don’t worry, the sharp scent will evaporate.
Bug bites--Mix apple cider vinegar and water in a bowl and use a cotton ball or paper towel to dab the mix on to each bite. The acidity of the vinegar will reduce the swelling and curb the urge to scratch.
Athlete's foot--Again germ fighting...the vinegar rids of germs that cause foot infections. Combine one part vinegar with 2 parts water and let your toesies soak for 10 minutes.
