I finally bought some whey protein to make smoothies with in the morning. Each scoop is a lot of protein but only two weight watchers' points. Yahoo! A great prepare ahead meal to grab and run. Now, what to mix it with? I bought a pouch of the strawberry mix (I've been craving a strawberry shake) and a tub of vanilla 'cause I know I like that. So tomorrow I'll be trying:
1 pouch strawberry Jay Robb Whey Protein (uses stevia, no carbs, no sugar)
1 cup strawberries, halved
1/2 cup non-fat yogurt (I recommend greek)
1/2 cup water
splash orange juice
dash cinnamon
Blend up, add ice if you want it less juicy and more smoothie like!
